Pharmacovigilance: what does it mean to monitor medicines?

Menarini continues to monitor the safety of a medicinal product after it has been launched on the market, from the moment it is prescribed by a doctor until it is used by the patient (and even afterwards). This monitoring is done through an important tool, pharmacovigilance, which takes care of identifying, evaluating, understanding and preventing any kind of safety issues that may arise after the use of a medicine. For all medicines marketed by Menarini worldwide, all possible information about problems arising from the use of a medicine and identified as possible adverse events is collected through safety reports.
